Take a short, fun quiz to find out whether your leadership legacy is in jeopardy

B is for Breakthrough

Definition: a sudden, dramatic and important discovery or development.  An important discovery that happens after trying for a long time to understand or explain something.

I’ve used NLP techniques for many years, even going back to my time in the steel industry where I would read books about NLP and use the techniques as best as I was able.  Time Line Therapy® (developed by Tad James) evolved from NLP and this forms the basis of the Personal Breakthrough Programme.  It is probably one of the most powerful set of techniques as it eliminates the painful emotions attached to our memories.

Have you ever reacted disproportionately to a situation?  Perhaps you’ve had a loud outburst when another driver cuts you up or screamed with fear at the sight of a spider?  Have you set goals for the future which you have not achieved?

Time Line Therapy® is unlike any therapy that you may have come across previously, as the whole programme is only 6 sessions long and there is no need to constantly re-live the emotional events from the past.  Despite this, it can get rid of negative emotions and limiting beliefs that you have held since childhood like “I am not good enough”, “bad things always happen to me” or “I would never make a good leader”.

Some of the clients I work with in this way (and it’s not suitable for everybody) find it difficult to believe that they can clear negative emotions, such as anger, sadness, hurt, fear and guilt from past memories but once we start working this way together, the usual comment is “that’s weird! But wow!”.

Tad James says of Time Line Therapy®:

“Behavioural change in an individual takes place at an unconscious level. People don’t change consciously. The Time Line Therapy® process allows you to work at the unconscious level and release the effects of past negative experiences and change ‘inappropriate’ programming in minutes rather than days, months or years.”

Basically, it gives you the opportunity of getting rid of all the emotional baggage you have been carrying around with you for so long in a few hours.  How great would that be?
